Kindergarten Registration Ongoing

Registration for kindergarten is currently taking place during school hours in the main office of each of the five elementary schools in Vernon. 

To register, parents must complete a registration packet, available in the school's main office, provide two forms of identification, which show proof of Vernon residency, and present a copy of their child's birth certificate.

All children who are 5 years old before Jan. 1, 2013 are eligible to be registered for kindergarten. 

A complete health form must be handed in to school for each child in order to attend kindergarten, but is not required at time of registration.

Here is the evening registration schedule:

• Maple Street School: March 27, from 5 to 6 p.m.

• Northeast School: March 27, from 6 to 7 p.m.

• Skinner Road School: March 29, from 5 to 6 p.m.

• Center Road School: April 17, 5:30 to 7 p.m.

• Lake Street School: April 17, 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
