Knife Incident Lands Vernon Woman With Charges
A Saturday night incident with a knife in Vernon left a 32-year-old woman with eight charges, police said.

VERNON, CT — A Saturday night incident with a knife on North Park Street left a 32-year-old woman with eight charges and a Monday date in a courtroom.
The incident took place at 6:58 p.m., according to a report.
The call came in intially as a disorderly complaint. Brittany Randle is accused of threatening a family member with a knife and then assaulting her, according to a report.

She was charged with:
- Attempted first-degree assault
- Second-degree breach of peace
- Second-degree reckless endangerment (three counts)
- Second-degree threatening (three counts)
She was held over the weekend on a $35,000 bond, according to a report.
