Labor Day Trash And Recycling Schedule Posted In Vernon
Labor Day calls for changes in the trash and recycling collections in Vernon.
VERNON, CT — The Vernon Public Works Department will be closed on Sept. 5 in observance of Labor Day.
Trash and recycling will not be collected on that day but instead will be collected the following day — Sept. 6 — along with that day's normal collection.
If delays occur, residents should keep their carts out at the curb.
