Lacrosse Registration Kicks off in Vernon

VERNON, CT — The Vernon Lacrosse Association is gearing up for the 2017 spring lacrosse season.

The Vernon Lacrosse Association, which runs programs for boys and girls in kindergarten through Grade 8, is hosting an open house Jan. 23 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Vernon Center Middle School.

In addition to Vernon, players from Vernon, Manchester, Bolton and Coventry are eligible to play, since those towns do not have a youth lacrosse program.

Players with beginner to advanced skills are welcome.

Indoor workouts are scheduled to begin soon, followed by regular practice and games in the spring through the Connecticut Valley Youth Lacrosse League.
