License of Nurse From Vernon Placed On Probation

HARTFORD, CT — A registered nurse from Vernon was among nine nurses who received disciplinary action from the state Board of Examiners for Nursing Wednesday, according to the Connecticut Health I-Team (C-HIT).

Amanda Hart had her RN license placed on probation for four years following an investigation of allegations that she diverted and used opiates and alcohol while working as a nurse at Hartford Hospital between Oct. 2016 and Feb. 2017.

Public state documents indicate Hart opted not to contest the allegations.
