Local band to be featured at February 4 coffeehouse in Rockville
"The Love On Band" is led by Ellington resident Danny Petrozza

On Friday, February 4 at 7 p.m., Jacob's Well Christian Coffeehouse will feature The Love On Band from Ellington with Kurt Ruckersfeldt on bass, Danny Petrozza on vocals and keyboards, and Mike Savelyev on acoustic guitar. The group's music ranges from contemporary Christian music to ballads, country, gospel, praise and worship. Admission is free and dress is casual. The event will be held either in the Union Church sanctuary or The Oasis storefront at 3 Elm Street in the historic Rockville section of Vernon, depending on coronavirus precautions.
The Love On Band’s debut CD was released in 2019, just before the coronavirus outbreak, and captured the attention of internet radio stations across America. As lead singer and keyboardist for the group, Danny Petrozza wrote and produced all eleven songs on the CD and has performed at such venues as Jacob’s Well, JesusFest, Guns Down Books Up, town festivals, the Lift Every Voice And Sing festival in Hartford, Special Touch Ministries, and Christian coffeehouses across the region.
Danny serves as a Deacon and singer/ keyboardist at Ellington Baptist Church. Guitarist Mike Savelyev is the Associate Pastor and worship leader at Somers Baptist Church. Kurt Ruckersfeldt, an accomplished bass player nationally, is a Deacon and lead bassist for the worship team at Ellington Baptist Church. The group's desire is to invite the Holy Spirit into each event and to bring Glory to God in worship. They will share personal testimonies of hardships which led to their salvation. They intend to play a few songs from their 2019 CD and other originals not yet released, and play worship favorites and sing-alongs.
