Man Accused of Stealing Shrimp from Vernon Store
He was arrested when he returned to the store later in the day and attempted to pay for the stolen shrimp, police said.

A Tolland man was arrested Wednesday morning after allegedly stealing a bag of shrimp from a Vernon supermarket, police said.
David Demeusy, 49, of 16 Oakwood Lane, allegedly shoplifted the shrimp at Stop & Shop around 8:42 a.m. and fled in a vehicle. Store employees were able to get the license plate and called police, Lt. William Meier said.
Demeusy was arrested when he returned to the store later in the day and attempted to pay for the stolen shrimp, which was valued at $95.92, Meier said.
