Man Charged After Incident At Vernon Park

VERNON, CT — A man was charged after an incident at a Vernon park, police said.

At 8:18 p.m. on Nov. 2, Vernon police were dispatched to the area of Central Park after a man allegedly assaulted a woman and then ran from the scene.

After a brief search, the man, identified as 51-year-old Joseph Carroll, of Vernon, was charged with second-degree breach of peace, according to a report.
