VERNON, CT — A public urination incident near a daycare facility in Vernon has landed a local man with a breach of peace charge, police said.

Police released a report on the Sept. 16 incident this week.

At 5:22 p.m. that day, Vernon police were dispatched to 375 Hartford Turnpike after a caller said a man was urinating on a patch of grass near the parking lot and the YMCA Day Care, according to a report.

He was later identified as 64-year-old Angel Gonzales, who lives on Court Street in Vernon, according to a report.

He was charged with second-degree breach of peace and is sue on Court Oct. 27, according to a report.
