Man Charged Four Times Over for Selling Drugs in Vernon
A man was charged for a live narcotics sale to an officer in Vernon and on three outstanding warrants, police said.

VERNON, CT — A man who is accused of selling drugs to undercover an narcotics officer at a Vernon shopping center remained in custody this week on bonds totaling $600,000, police and court records indicate.
Jeremy Butler, 37, was arrested on April 19 after selling Fentanyl to an undercover member of the East Central Narcotics Task force at the Tri-City Plaza in Vernon. Task force members had received a tip that Butler, who goes by the street name of "J," had been selling the drug in Vernon, according to a report.
At the time of his arrest, Butler had 15 bags of Fentanyl on him, ready to be sold, according to a report.

He was charged with both possession and the sale of narcotics for the buy-bust operation and on three other warrants and each carried a bond of $150,000, according to a report.
He is due back in court on May 18, court records show.

He was arrested by the task force in 2011 for similar activity in Manchester, police said.
