Man Charged with Loading, Pointing Gun at Another Driver in Tolland
The incident took place in Tolland on Thursday, state police said.

TOLLAND, CT — A Tolland man is accused of pointing a handgun at a local driver during an apparent attempt to intimidate the person on Thursday night, a state police report indicated.
State police were also classifying it as a road rage.
The incident was reported to state police at 7:28 p.m. and led to the arrest of 23-year-old William Bogner of Tolland, state police said. He was charged with first-degree threatening, first-degree reckless endangerment and breach of peace, according to a report.

State police received a complaint that Bogner was tailgating on Route 195 near Anthony Road, according to a report. The lead driver apparently yelled for him to back off and Bogner then pulled along side that car and pulled out a black handgun, released a round into the chamber and pointed it at the other driver, according to a report.
Bogner was borrowing the car, state police said.

He was arrested shortly after. The gun, a .45-caliber Glock, was registered to him, state police said.
His bond was set at $10,000 and he has a court date of Aug. 1, according to a report.
