Man Found Sleeping on Deck of Vernon Home, Then Charged

He had a protective order issued for the home, police said.

VERNON, CT — A man was charged for sleeping on the back deck of a Vernon home he was banned from visiting, police said.

At 11:54 a.m. on Sunday, a High Street resident came into the lobby of police headquarters to complain about a man who was at his home in violation of a protective order, an arrest report indicates.

The man then shared with police a video feed on his cell phone showing a man, identified as 19-year-old Tyler Conley, sleeping on the back deck of the home, according to an arrest report.

Conley has no certain address but hangs around Vernon, according to an arrest report.

Conley was charged with violating the conditions of release. He was held on a $20,000 bond and was to appear in court on Monday, according to an arrest report.
