Man Involved in Weekend Melee in Vernon Was Also Arrested Two Days Earlier: Police
He is due in court later this month.

VERNON, CT — A resisting arrest charge slapped on a 21-year-old Vernon man for a Rockville fight on Saturday was the second charge against him in less than a week, police said.
On Saturday at 1:09 p.m., officers were dispatched to the area near 133 West main St. in the Rockville section of Vernon for a large street fight, according to an arrest report. A witness told police that one of the combatants had a Taser, according to an arrest report.
Several of those at the scene began to flee and Cody Haskell, 21, of Vernon, became belligerent with officers, according to a police report.

Haskell had already been out on bond after surrendering to police two days earlier on a second-degree breach of peace charge, according to an arrest report.
He posted a $500 bond and was assigned a Nov. 29 court date, according to an arrest report.

His bond for the resisting charge was $20,000, police said. He is also due in court on Nov. 29 for that charge, police said.
