Man 'Peppered' By Victim Then Charged By Vernon Police: Report
A man was 'peppered' by the victim in a domestic violence case, police said.

VERNON, CT — A man was pepper sprayed by the "victim" in a domestic violence case and then charged by police, a report says.
The incident took place On Nov. 7 at 7:07 p.m., records indicate. A man, identified as 53-year-old John Shaw, is accused of throwing a resident of a Talcott Avenue home to the floor, but he was pepper sprayed in the struggle, accordng to a report.
Police then arrived and arested Shaw, who was charged with second-degree breach of peace, according to a report.
