Man Rescued With Rope At Valley Falls In Vernon

VERNON, CT — Vernon first-responders rescued a man stuck on a cliff with a rope at Valley Falls Park on Sunday evening.

The call came in at about 5:30 p.m. A man, uninjured, became stuck on a steep rock cliff, police said. Police did not immediately say how he became stuck.

Firefighters responded to the scene, were positioned by a VPD drone unit, and were able to pull the man to safety, according to police.
