Man Threatens to 'Shoot Up' Rockville Superior Court: Police

VERNON, CT — A Manchester man was arrested at Rockville Superior Court on Tuesday for threatening to "shoot up the court," state police said.

Jordan Julian Aquino, 20, of Manchester, was at the courthouse at 12:05 p.m. A Vernon police detective was entering the building near the time Aquino made the threat and detained him until state police arrived, according to a report.

Aquino was charged with first-degree breach of peace and second-degree threatening, according to a report.

He was held overnight on a $5,000 bond and was to be back at the courthouse on Wednesday to face the charges, state police said.
