Man Walks Into His Own Arrest in Vernon

He went to the police to inquire about a case unaware of a warrant.

VERNON, CT – A Vernon man walked into his own arrest on Saturday.

Jason Quiles, 37, of 119 Vernon Ave., wound up being charged with second-degree threatening after he entered the lobby of the police department to inquire about an investigation, according to an arrest report.

When he made the inquiry, an officer went to the lobby, informed him of the warrant, walked him to the booking room and charged him, according to a report.
