Manchester Salvation Army Store Closing Sept. 26
The Broad Street store is consolidating with the more modern Vernon location.
Citing high operational costs, the Manchester Salvation Army store at 263 Broad Street will be closing on Sept. 26, the Journal Inquirer reported.
The store and most of its employees will be consolidated into the newer Salvation Army store on Route 30 in Vernon, the JI said.
Employees were notified of the pending closure on Aug. 31.
