Manchester Woman Leaves Vernon Motel 6, Checks Into The Booking Room
She has been charged with drug violations, Vernon police said.

VERNON, CT - A Manchester woman tried to quickly check out of the local Motel 6 parking lot early Thursday, but instead found herself being abruptly checked into the booking room, Vernon police said.
At 12:01 a.m. Thursday, Vernon police were in the midst of a routine check of the Motel 6 parking lot off Route 83 when they saw a gray Acura exiting the lot at a high rate of speed and make an illegal left-hand turn onto Hartford Turnpike, the local name for that stretch of Route 83, according to an arrest report.
An officer pulled the car over and found the passenger, 23-year-old Amber Lizotte, to be in possession of narcotics and paraphernalia associated with the drug, according to an arrest report.

Police were not specific about the type of drug n a report.
Lizotte, who lives at 38 Church St., Manchester, was charged with both narcotics possession and possessing the paraphernalia within 1,500 feet of a school. A day care center is nearby. The motel is located at 51 Hartford Turnpike, police said.

She was released on a $2,500 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on April 19, police said.
