Mixed Transfer Station, Collection Schedule In Vernon This Week
The Vernon Transfer Station is still open two days this week.
VERNON, CT — The Vernon Transfer Station is open Wednesday and Saturday this week, but closed on Easter Sunday.
Normal hours of operation on Wednesdays and Saturdays are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Vernon Public Works Department will be closed on Friday in observance of Good Friday.

Trash and recycling will not be collected on Friday, but instead will be collected on Monday, along with that day's normal collection.
Public works officials said trash and recycling carts should be placed curbside no later than 6 a.m. on collection day.
