MLK Day Prompting Trash Schedule Change In Vernon
The MLK trash schedule has been posted in Vernon.
VERNON, CT — Here's the Vernon Martin Luther King Jr. Day trash and recycling collection schedule:
The Public Works Department will be closed on Monday, Jan. 19, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
Trash and recycling will not be collected on that day but instead will be collected the following day on Tuesday Jan. 20, 2026 along with that day's collection.
