MLK Holiday Delaying Trash Collections In Vernon
The MLK Day trash schedule is posted for Vernon.
VERNON, CT — The Vernon Public Works Department will be closed on Monday Jan. 16, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
Refuse and recycling will not be collected on that day but instead will be collected the following day — on Tuesday Jan 17 — along with that day's normal collection.
The Vernon Transfer Station will be closed on Sunday Jan. 15, 2023.
