More Car Burglaries Caught On Camera In Vernon

VERNON, CT — A car burglar was caught by a residential surveillance system in living color in yet another bold display of after-dark car burglaries in Vernon.

Spurts of car burglaries have plagued the area for a couple of years now and this week, Vernon police this week issued yet another plea for residents to lock their car doors and remove valuables.

The latest series of incidents involved several people breaking into vehicles on Tuesday in the south part of Vernon in the Grier Road area.
