Mother's Day Dash Road Closures Announced In Vernon

VERNON, CT — Vernon police have announced road closures for the annual Mother's Day Dash road race, scheduled for Sunday. The race course stretches through Henry Park and the immediate area.

The closures will be in effect from 8:45 to 10:30 a.m. They include:

• South Street between Henry Park and Route 30
• Route 30 from South Street to Grove Street
• Grove Street from Route 30 to Hale Street
• Center Street
• East Street from Center Street to Hale Street
• Hale Street
• Hale Street Ext. from Grove Street to Lewis Street
• Lewis Street from Hale Street Ext to White Street
• White Street
