Motorcycle Driver, Passenger Hurt In Weekend Crash In Vernon
A motorcycle and pickup truck collided in Vernon Saturday.

VERNON, CT — A motorcycle driver and his passenger were both seriously hurt in a crash on Route 30 in Vernon Saturday.
The crash took place at 12:18 p.m. along the 200 block of Hartford Turnpike, the local name for Route 30.
According to a crash report, the motorcycle, a 2006 Victory, was headed West downhill. The bike then collided with a Toyota Tacoma headed the same way, police said.

Both the 31-year-old man driving the bike and his 29-year-old female passenger, suffered serious injuries, police said. The woman was airlifted to an area hospital, police said.
The crash is still being investigated.
