Motorcycle Rider Hurt In Vernon Crash
A motorcycle crashed in Vernon Center Friday night.
VERNON, CT — A single motorcycle crash Friday night left the rider with serious injuries, Vernon police said Monday.
The crash took place at the intersection of Center Road and Winding Brook Trail late Friday night.
Responders at the scene said the rider was transported by ambulance to an area hospital. Though serious, the extend of the rider's injuries were not thief-threatening, Vernon police said.

Investigators were at the scene well into Friday night piecing together what happened. Center Road was closed from Peterson Road to Crestridge Dive for about two hours.
Center Road connects Routes 30 and 83 in the center of town.
