Mystery Building Springs Up In Vernon Commercial Area

VERNON, CT — There's a mystery addition to a busy commercial area in Vernon.

The steel framing for a free-standing business building popped up late last week and workers were busy at the site Monday along the 100 block of Talcottville Road, the local address for that portion of state Route 83.

When asked what the structure was, Vernon Economic Development Coordinator Shaun Gately described it as, "a retail building" and sad the tenant would be disclosed at a later date.

The building sits between Wendy's and Taco Bell, which share a driveway with Starbuck's.
