Narcotics Seized During Raid At Vernon Apartment Complex
A drug task force raid took place at a Vernon apartment complex late last week.

VERNON, CT — A suspected drug dealer was corralled at an apartment complex in Vernon late last week, police said.
On May 30, members of the East Central Narcotics Task Force the DEA Diversion Task Force
and the Vernon Police Department served a warrant at No. 1 Park West Drive in Vernon as part of an ongoing narcotics investigation at the apartment complex there.
The target of the investigation, 38-year-old Earnest J. Davis, was taken into custody, police said. He has been charged with:

- Possession with the intent to sell narcotics
- Poss. of narcotics
- Possession with the intent to sell marijuana/cannabis
- Risk of injury to a child 2 counts)
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
- Operation of a drug factory
Davis was held over the weekend on $305,000 in total bonds.

During the search of the residence officers located and seized a both marijuana and crack cocaine, according to an incident report.

Davis was also observed selling drugs to a minor right before the warrant was served, police said.
