New Baker At Between Rounds Bakery Sandwich Café in Vernon, CT
Between Rounds Bakery Sandwich Café is a growing fast casual dining establishment and wholesale bagel supplier.

Between Rounds Bakery Sandwich Café, a growing fast casual dining establishment and wholesale bagel supplier, has appointed Karen Ball as Baker in their Vernon location.
In her new role as full time baker, Ball will be responsible for baking bagels, rolls, breads and a variety of pastries and desserts on a daily basis for Between Rounds located in the Vernon Circle Shopping Center.
Ball has a passion for the food industry and decades of experience. After graduating from Manchester High School, she completed a one-year cooking and baking program at Manchester Community College. Over the years she has held a number of different roles in the supermarket, baking and restaurant sectors, which included eight years as wait staff at Frank's Restaurant in Hartford. She then embarked on a 28-year career in the food vending industry, working for Food Pro in South Windsor for 21 years, followed by Quality Foods in Bristol for seven years where she serviced food, snack, coffee and soda vending machines for hospitals, nursing homes and other organizations throughout her Western Massachusetts route.
"Karen is a talented baker with a tremendous amount of knowledge and experience in the food industry. We are delighted to welcome her to our team," said Jerry Puiia, co-owner of the franchise.
Ball is a resident and native of Manchester, CT.
