New Officer Sworn In At Vernon Police Department

VERNON, CT — Robert Worobel was recently sworn in as Vernon's newest police officer.

Worobel is a graduate of both Foran High School in Milford and Central Connecticut State University in New Britain. His internship was at the New Britain Police Department.

He also worked with the United Technologies Corp. security force.

He now begins training with the VPD.
