O'Connell Filling Vacancy On Vernon Town Council

VERNON, CT — The Vernon Town Council Tuesday endorsed the appointment of John O'Connell to fill a vacancy on the town's governing board.

O'Connell will take the place of longtime council member Julie Clay, who decided to step down to spend more time with her family.

Clay was on the council for about a decade since filling a vacancy herself.

The term expires in November 2025.
