Old Evidence Photos: When Vernon Circle was a Circle

VERNON, CT — The records division of the Vernon police department periodically cleans out its old files.

This week, an old black-and-white investigation photo turned up showing when Vernon Circle was actually a circle.

It was taken during an investigation on June 25, 1975.

Vernon Circle is the area near the interchange of Interstate-84 and routes 30 and 83. It's namesake rotary was replaced years ago with the traffic light system currently in use.
