Pedestrian, Vehicle Collide In Vernon
A pedestrian was hurt in a collision with a vehicle in Vernon Thursday evening, police said.
VERNON, CT — A pedestrian and vehicle collided on a busy stretch of road in Vernon Thursday.
At 5:21 p.m., Vernon Police responded to a motor vehicle crash involving a pedestrian at the entrance to Vernon Chevrolet, 175 Hartford Turnpike, according to an incident report.
The pedestrian was struck by a vehicle that was exiting the property and sustained what police termed "non-life-threatening injuries," according to an incident report.

The pedestrian, an adult female, was transported to a local hospital for evaluation, police said.
The crash remains under investigation.
