VERNON, CT — This week's snowstorm provided a nice winter scene at Bolton Lake and the latest installment of the Picture Vernon series.

The image was captured late Wednesday morning.

The lake was partially frozen from previous cold temperatures and the parking of the boat launch had a snowy coating over it.
