Poetry Rocks at ACE!

Three nationally acclaimed poets will read from their work at Poetry Rocks! a quarterly poetry series. Elizabeth Thomas is a widely published poet, performer, educator and advocate of the arts who is a teaching artist for the Bushnell Performing Arts Center, CT Office of the Arts.

Sean Frederick Forbes is an Assistant Professor-in-Residence in English and the Director of the Creative Writing Program at the University of Connecticut. He won first prize in the 2017 Al Savard Memorial Poetry Contest of the Connecticut Poetry Society.

Victoria Nordlund, Rockville High School’s English Department Chair and a UCONN adjunct professor, was a CT Teacher-of-the-Year semi-finalist. Vicky has been honored with eight national Scholastic Art and Writing Outstanding Educator Awards.
