Police Rule Out Two More Cases in Vernon Unidentified Body Case
Two New Haven missing person cases have been ruled out as matches.

New Haven police confirmed Tuesday that the human remains found in Vernon in March 2013 aren’t those of missing New Haven persons Evelyn Frisco or Lisa Calvo.
Police collected DNA from family members of both New Haven women. The only similarity between those two cases and the one in Vernon was that the missing women were about the same age as the body discovered, said Officer David Hartman, New Haven police spokesman.
“The open cases of Lisa Calvo and Evelyn Frisco never had forensic or evidentiary ties to the Vernon discovery,” Hartman said in a release.

The U.S. Department of Justice’s National Missing and Unidentified Persons System compares unidentified found bodies with those of missing persons to help close cases, Hartman said.
