Police: Vernon Man Tried to Force His Way Into Home
He was warned to stay away from the resident, Police said.

VERNON, CT - A Vernon man is facing a trio of criminal charges after he tried to force his way into a Fern Street house over the weekend, police said.
Paul Embleton, 52, tried to get into the dwelling at 9:41 p.m. on Saturday, police said.
He lives on Grove Street nearby, police said.
Charges include second-degree harassment, second-degree criminal trespass and second-degree breach of peace, police said.
