A preschool and child care program is taking over a vacant space at Center 375 in Vernon.
VERNON, CT — A popular preschool and child care program in the area is taking over a vacant space inside Center 375 in Vernon.
The Academy of Art & Learning has been in the process of refurbishing the space inside the town-owned building at 375 Hartford Turnpike. It previously housed a YMCA preschool program.
Vernon Mayor Daniel Champagne is scheduled to preside over a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the grand opening of the facility on June 4 at 11 a.m.

The academy of Art & Learning has slated an open house that day from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The academy offers daycare services for children from age 6 weeks to 4-years-old. It also has care programs for children aged 4 through middle school.
