Popular Vernon Historical Society Book Sale Set To Kick Off

VERNON, CT — The popular annual book sale at the Vernon Historical Society is set to kick off.

The society is located at 734 Hartford Turnpike.

This year, the sale features about 15,000 books — all carefully sorted into categories. All fiction hard cover and paperback books are alphabetized by the first letter of the authors' last names.

All types of DVDs and Audiobooks are also featured.

All proceeds go to benefit The Vernon Historical Society.

FREE ADMISSION Days:

• Friday, April 28, NOON to 6 PM
• Saturday, April 29, 8 AM to 6 PM
• Sunday, April 30, NOON to 4 PM
• :Saturday, May 6, 10 AM to 4 PM
• Sunday, May 7, NOON to 3 PM.

PREVIEW EVENT

• Thursday, April 27, 6 PM to 9 PM All books for sale! Everyone welcome!$10 admission.
