Presidents Day Affecting Trash And Recycling Schedule In Vernon
Vernon officials have posted the Presidents Day collection slate.
VERNON, CT — The Vernon Public Works Department will be closed on Monday Feb. 20, 2023 in observance of Presidents Day.
Refuse and recycling will not be collected on that day but instead will be collected the following day — on Tuesday, Feb. 21, along with that day's regular route.
Excess refuse and recycling may be brought to the Vernon Transfer Station free of charge year-round on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sundays noon to 4 p.m.
