Public Urination Incident In Vernon Leaves 63-Year-Old With Charges

VERNON, CT — A man caught urinating near a private club n Vernon was arrested — after police tried to get him help at a hospital.

Police recently released a report on the March 21 incident.

At 1:13 p.m. that Saturday, officers were dispatched the the TKB Club at 1 Vernon Ave. for a disturbance that involved a 63-yer-old Springfield, MA, man urinating in the parking lot, according to an incident report.

Club staff members then pointed out the man when police arrived, and said he was urinating in public as families walked by and he was clearly exposed, according to an incident report.

When police approached the man, he was clearly intoxicated and a distinct puddle was in front of him, according to an incident report. He refused to leave, according to an incident report.

The man then made several suicidal remarks and was taken to Rockville General Hospital short distance away, police said. He was later charged with breach of peace.
