Reception Hall-Type Facility Proposed For Vernon Strip Plaza Vacancy
A proposal for a reception hall at a plaza on Route 83 is going through the local regulatory process in Vernon.

VERNON, CT — A "commercial recreational facility" has been proposed for a vacant space in the strip plaza at 400 Talcottville Road in Vernon. In layman's terms, that is a fancy name for a banquet and reception hall.
The vacancy is Suite No.2 in the plaza anchored by Tractor Supply. It's the space formerly occupied by Kellner's window covering center. Tolland-based Modern Style Events LLC has applied for a special permit to host private events in the 4,300-square-foot space with two separate halls.
Talcottville Road is state Route 83.
