Renovated Liquor Store In Vernon Already A Hit As Lottery Vendor
A big CT Lottery prize has been sold at a new-look Vernon liquor store.
VERNON, CT — A new-look liquor store is already a hit as a CT Lottery vendor.
CT Lottery officials said that, on Monday, Tolland resident Robert Benoit cashed in a $10,000 winner from a scratch ticket.
He purchased the ticket for the CT Lottery's 30X Cash 9th Edition game at the Discount Wine And Liquors Shop at 1198 Hartford Turnpike in Vernon.

The store used to be called the Wine Seller, but was renamed last November when it opened with a larger footprint inside an expanded and refurbished strip plaza.
