RHS Football Team Defeats Plainville

Mark Henry had a 200-yard rushing game for the Rams.

VERNON, CT — The Rockville High School football team was a 28-7 winner over Plainville on Friday.

The Rams scored once each in the second and third quarters on Mark Henry runs of 18 and 58 yards.

Henry also had a 58-yard run for the Rams final touchdown. He finished with 228 yards on 21 carries.

Rockville's third TD was scored on a Romeo Sowah 30-yard reception from quarterback Justin Orlowski.

Plainville's TD was scored on a 37-yard Frank Griffin pass to Ben Root.

For Rockville, Josh Foster had six tackles and three assists, Austin Devine had seven tackles and three assists and Zach Banning and Malik Tate each had a interception.
