RHS Girls Soccer Team Gets First Win

The Rams blasted Bloomfield.

The Rockville High School girls soccer team picked up its first win of the season on Thursday,  7-2 at Bloomfield. 

Haley Hasty scored the first goal of the game off an assist from Sarah Kline to start a wild first half scoring spree. 

Bloomfield tied the game a minute later off a corner kick on a goal by Latisha Anderson.

Rockville again took the lead 90 seconds later when Lindsey Broussea scored off a Sarah Provencher corner kick. Bloomfield tied it up 1:40 later on a Vanessa Whittingham goal.

Rockville took the lead for good three minutes later on a goal by Sarah Vincze.

Vincze scored two more goals before the half. 

Sarah Provencher and Hasty had the final two goals for Rockville in the second half. Provencher had five assists in the game.

Shelby Barnes made one save for Rockville and Kimmoi Ferguson and Sybelle Moise combined for three saves for Bloomfield.

Rockville is now 1-2 and Bloomfield is 0-3.
