RHS Unified Sports, Special Olympics Bringing Mobile Penguin Plunge To Rockville High School
One of the most fun elements of the Special Olympics is making its way to Rockville High School next month.

VERNON, CT — One of the most fun elements of the Special Olympics is making its way to Rockville High School next month.
That's right, Special Olympics Connecticut and the RHS Unified Sports program are hosting the Mobile Penguin Plunge.
The big pool on wheels wil be at RHS on Thursday, April 9 for an event that is scheduled for 1 p.m.

"We bring our Mobile Penguin Plunge unit to your site, complete with an icy cold pool for participants to take the plunge," Special Olympics officials said. "Gather your classmates, colleagues, or team members to fundraise for Special Olympics Connecticut and experience the thrill of plunging together."
Participants who raise $150 or more will earn an exclusive Penguin Plunge incentive, handed out on the day of the event.

"The more you raise, the more rewards you unlock," Special Olympics officials said.
