RHS Wins in Baseball, Drops Volleyball Match

Baseball team now has a winning record in the division.

The Rockville High School baseball team improved to 4-7 overall and to 4-3 in the CCC East by beating Rocky Hill on Monday, 1-0. 

The Rams scored their lone run in the bottom of the sixth inning. Neil Gentile started the inning with a two-out double. He moved to third on a Kevin Lukas infield single and scored with two out when Matt Goff singled.

Gentile and Goff each had two hits and Chris Watts pitched a complete game shutout. He only gave up two hits while striking out five. The Rams next game is scheduled for Wednesday at Fermi.



Boys Volleyball

The Rams dropped a match 3-0 at home to Bloomfield.

The game scores were 25-10, 25-16, 25-17.
 
Devon Charles had three kills for the Rams.

Rockville fell to 0-7 and is scheduled to play again on Wednesday  against South Windsor.
