Road Paving Project On 3 Roads In Vernon Delayed

VERNON, CT — Weather has delayed some road work in Vernon originally scheduled for this week.

Milling and paving was on tap for Rockledge Drive, Maxwell Drive and Tamarack Lane, but because of the recent heavy rain, the contractor has postponed the approximate start date until April 25.

The roads will not be closed but there may be delays, local officials said.
