Rockville Girls to Open Class L Basketball Tournament on Road

The Rams are seeded 18th in Class L, according to the brackets released Wednesday morning.

VERNON, CT — The road to Mohegan Sun starts Monday and Tuesday, as Rockville High School and 129 other high school girls basketball teams begin their quests for state championships in the CIAC tournaments.

A 12-8 regular season record gave Rockville the No. 18 seed and an opening round away game in the Class L tournament. The Rams will travel to No. 15 East Lyme (13-7) Tuesday at 7 p.m.
