VERNON, CT — There is a new addition to the family at Rockville High School's Agricultural Science and Technology Education Program.

A baby heifer was born on Aug. 7 to the the program's Jersey cow, Moana.

The calf is doing well, school officials said, and she has been drinking s about 6 quarts of "milk replacer" (that's a fancy word for formula) each day.
